I was a frantic, nervous wreck. A totally confused and agitated caller. I wanted things done right away. I know what I want but I don’t know what I need. I am in the so called ” sandwich generation”. I am taking care of my 4 kids and an aging parents. My parents had an accidents and will be coming out of the hospital sooner than what I thought.
After talking to the Mobility Team, I was able to focus my thoughts. They guided me through the process of receiving a post op parents. They assessed not only my physical or environmental needs but also the health needs of my parents and family. Thanks to all especially the RN who helped me with my post op parents. Rank A++, for customer service.
My husband had a stroke few years ago. The left side of his body was affected. He needs partial assistance in his activity of daily living. It was a challenge for us to move around in our own house.
A friend referred Mobility, I called him and he came out right away to do the environmental assessment, the next day, I have grab bars in the places he needed it including the bathroom. He rearranged my furniture to be ” barrier free” and “clutter free” for not only my husband’s safety but also mine.
I was diagnosed with Morbid Obesity, 350lbs and keep on increasing. I started to find it difficult to maneuver myself inside the bathroom. Mobility modified my bathroom, where I can turn around without squeezing my self in between sink and door. I am able to take a shower in my “walk in shower”. The folding grab bars, raised toilet seat, hanging sink, widened sliding door, all made my life possible to live, thank you Mr. Wolf.
I’m a resident of one of the Residential health care facility in a Freehold, NJ. I have Parkinson’s disease. I can walk but I use wheelchair alternating with walker.
I love my living arrangement but I have a hard time going in and out of the facility every time I have the episode of my disease. A wooden ramp put in by Mobility Construction, in front of the house made it so easy for me to be able to go in and out of this place I called “home”.
